What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter a long complicated bath into the firePathBar
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Firefox 10.0.2
Firebug 1.9.1
FirePath 0.9.7
Please provide any additional information below.
I've added a resizable popover panel to my version of FirePath that makes
viewing and editing long complicated paths easier. Each node is displayed on
its own line. For example, here's a path to an element on jquery.com:
html[@class="js"]/body[@class="jq-enhanced"]/div[@id="jq-siteContain"]/div[@id="
jq-content" and @class="jq-clearfix"]/div[@id="jq-learnjQuery" and
@class="jq-clearfix"]/div[@id="jq-resources" and
@class="clearfix"]/div[@class="jq-gettingStarted"]/ul/li[2]/a
It is so big that the whole thing isn't visible in the firePathBar at the same
time. In the popover, it displays like this:
html[@class="js"]
/body[@class="jq-enhanced"]
/div[@id="jq-siteContain"]
/div[@id="jq-content" and @class="jq-clearfix"]
/div[@id="jq-learnjQuery" and @class="jq-clearfix"]
/div[@id="jq-resources" and @class="clearfix"]
/div[@class="jq-gettingStarted"]
/ul
/li[2]
/a
The path is displayed in a text box, so it can be easily edited. Changes made
in the popover are instantly reflected in the firePathBar. The popover is
activated by a toolbar button. I've attached diffs for bindings.xml and
FirePath.css
