Possible situations:

identity mapping
multiple electrical columns to single matrix column (space saving or non conflicting columns connected together)
row or column reordering to pcb layout reasons
arbitrary mapping

Issues in haxeui

renderer caching bug haxeui/haxeui-core#330
view jumping up and down haxeui/haxeui-core#329 - low priority (unlikely to have many rows or columns)
multiselection support - haxeui/haxeui-core#334 :heavy_check_mark: merged

Implementation done, keeping open until haxeui issues are resolved.
