What are the requirement for running this?

Do you need to run a full BTC node? Which version etc? And, is Lightning Network supported?

I have installed the https://github.com/karliuka/m2.Bitcoin extension in my site and it works fine in the backend but not showing the bitcoin payment method in frontend checkout. Magento Version 2.2.6 and etc.

You'll need a full BTC node. That's what I use

Yes, the extension is working fine.

And I have modified the extension as per requirement.
