What steps will reproduce the problem?
   Any attempt to access GUI System/Notifications menu

What do you see instead?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting 
identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or number (T_NUM_STRING) in 
/var/www/fusionpbx/core/notifications/app_languages.php on line 16

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
  8667   / Debian Wheezy
