Suggestions...let's hear them.

So, not an actual title idea, but a note I'd like to offer is that I think the big goal of this project is to enable learners to be competent digital content creators, so maybe the title could be something that emphasizes that idea? Or if the main project revolves around them creating a Github page, it might also deal with the idea of a digital identity. Modern Tools for Creating Your Digital Identity, or something like that?

I like that, but I'd go more granular with something like a "professional digital identity," since the entire planet is already on Facebook.

I'm not sure if I would want to emphasize the "identity" part of it. It makes me think of resources I've read about branding yourself which may be a part of the project, but I'm not sure it illustrates the focus or importance of everything else we want the learner to know.

I like the idea of of going with the digital content creator aspect that Matt suggested. Maybe something like, "The Digital Content Creator's Toolbox"

This would leave it open to add additional items as they become more relevant.

Maybe if we want to get more specific we can add a subtitles like , "The Digital Content Creator's Toolbox: Resources for Creating and Communicating Digital Content in the Age of Information" or, another way to go would be a subtitle like, "The Digital Content Creator's Toolbox: Resources for Creating Digital Content and Strengthening Your Professional Portfolio"

Too long?

I like it, but I'd make the title a bit more concise.

How about "The Digital Toolbox: Resources for Creating and Communicating Digital Content"

I like "The Digital Content Creator's Toolbox." As a title it sort of stands on its own without the need to add a subtitle (although I also think those subtitles sound good.) And, I know this might sound silly, but I like that it can be abbreviated as the DCCT. Somehow having a good sounding acronym for it makes it sound more professional to me.

karlstolley commented 11 years ago

I like the direction DCCT is heading; although this is really more a learning resource than a "toolbox"...anyone have a word to swap in in place of "toolbox"?

kchughes commented 11 years ago

Maybe "Workshop"? or even something simple like "Learning Center"? so, DCCW or DCCLC?

matthewheston commented 11 years ago

What about "Guide?" DCCG has the same nice ring to it to me.
