Works in RetroPie 4.1.0, but not 4.2.3 #2

I posted in your other issue post, but wanted to update my findings. I needed to run your script to get my Mad Catz SFIV Fightstick recognized in RetroPie 4.1.0 - the script worked perfectly.

I did a fresh install today, installing and updating to the most recent RetroPie 4.2.3 (including updating the underlying kernel and all the apt-updates/upgrades/dist/etc.). The script no longer works in 4.2.3. Anything I can try to get the SFIV fightstick to work again?

Made a fork for people with another hardware revision 8838 vs 8818: https://github.com/gr33k/MadCatz2Jstick Nothing major just changed a few things around but still doesn't seem to work for my buddy despite seeing "SUCCESS" vs "FAILURE" when connecting with the original code
