Does the phone and laptop have to be connected to the same LAN, cos it worked with my phone, but when i sent the link to others to download, the server refused to pick, any reason???

yes on lan it works...to connect and exploit on wan you have to run your ip through a wan server not your local ip

you can use a free forwarding server like portmap.io mate..you can hack over the internet
