Hello, what a great idea this is!  I have reviewed the listed icons and cannot 
see one which would meet my needs.  I need a CCTV camera icon if possible 
please. I am working for local government in the UK and I wish to advise 
everyone where my CCTV cameras are located. Google maps is a great way to 
spread this information.

I have attached the design of my current on-street signs which tell motorists 
and pedestrians where the cameras are.

Thanks for your request, it's a good one and even better is that you have 
supplied a template for us to use.  Once done your icon will be most likely be

thanks for your reply.  I wish you a Happy New Year and much more success with 
this great project in 2011.  I have checked the link you provided but cannot 
see an update, am I missing something or have you just been too busy to do this 
one yet?

And I wish you the same. Yes, correct, been pretty busy doing other things so I 
haven't gotten around to that one yet, there are quiet a few requests pending 
since a long time.  Ill update this thread once it's done, sorry I can't be 
more specific on when.  I'll for sure try to find more time for this project 
this year.

Mattias, Now that is genius! Thank you.  

I met my with Police colleagues recently and they love this idea.  Would it be 
possible to have it in different colours? Especially as the brown one you have 
created is almost identical to the colour we use on street signs for tourist 
sites of interest. Ideally, I'd like it in the same colours as the basic pins 
on the Google Maps app. Is that a very great deal to ask?  I have some basic 
skills on computers and would be willing to have a go myself if you told me 
how.
