some tracks not uploading but getting deleted from device #267

I have noticed that I have had some tracks completely disappear during the upload process from my Android phone. I haven't identified a pattern, but I have had a handful of tracks simply not get uploaded, and subsequently were deleted from my phone so they are lost forever. I don't know what other info might be helpful in fixing this. Thank you

I had the same problem on My iPhone 11. But every time a track disappeared, the App crashed before it disappeared. Was that also a problem for you?

I am new to this platform so hopefully the quote works. But I don't honestly know. I tend to upload in bulk once a week or once every other week so it takes like 2 days to upload everything from the app. I haven't been diligent enough in monitoring it. I know that there was some crashing problems a while back and I went back and forth with Telenav via email but I don't know/remember the result of that.

I upload every day in the evening and watch if my phome crashed already. Then i must restart the app and press Upload again. The ios app is really buggy and crashed yesterday like 20 times. What phone do you use? Does it also crash so often?

I have a Moto X4. I don't really watch the upload process so I can't speak on that end but the app itself has not crashed entirely for me while taking photos. After I get to about 2500 images in one track it will stop recording and I have to start a new track, but the app itself doesn't crash.

Well I just finished uploading my batch for this week and maybe last, I can't remember, but 28 out of 28 tracks uploaded fine (3 still flagged as processing, which is its own issue, but I digress). I will continue to monitor.

Occasionally I will completely lose tracks and I never see them again. Sometimes though it just takes up to a week or two to show up on the website.
