Fix discipline categories #1

Hi @emckiernan Please comment here on fixing the categories and we can wrap this figure up.

Hi @karthik, I think we should go for the categories in the link you sent - a mixture of the ones listed in the text and the figure to the right https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branches_of_science. (1) applied science (2) formal science (3) life science (4) physical science (5) social science Mathematics will be the only one under formal science, and we move ecology to life sciences. I think the rest are fine as you had them categorized. It's similar to what you had, but we avoid 'interdisciplinary', which I think is the most loaded term.
