set checkpoint function not reliable #167

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Droid-4, but sometimes had same issue on droid-1
2.play partway through a board, choose set checkpoint.
3.hit menu again, undo to checkpoint is still grayed out.

As others have said, checkpoint also does not seem to survive application 
restarts.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Happy to provide additional info.  I am a savvy rooted droid user.
