Hi @seabilwe
Thank you for this ticket and the work you are doing. I just want to understand a little:

Hi @seabilwe
Thank you for this ticket and the work you are doing. I just want to understand a little:
1 Data organisation: Have you consolidated everything into a single geopackage?
- Cartography: Its not clear from the images above what the cartography for the toposheets looks like because there seems to be an openstreetmap background topo map loaded in the project. Can you please share screenshots without that loaded so we can see what the cartography looks like from just info stored in the geopackage?
- Elevation data: I have also made a more detailed elevation model from the cleaned contours - and a hillshade. The hillshade is accessible form this WMS: https://geoservices.govt.lc/ogc/Elevation
- Imagery: I have also published their imagery via WMS here: https://geoservices.govt.lc/geoserver/SaintLucia/wms

Hi @timlinux
I have uploaded the latest version of the project in the St Lucia folder on NC.
I contacted Alexandre Neto last week and he said he will get back to me sometime this week with regards to the contour labeling
I have a bit of a problem with the Elevation points layer, most of the elevation values there have more than two decimal places after the comma (picture below), I used the Refactor fields algorithm in QGIS and not all values were changed. Is there another method I can use to change the values, because I cant use the layer since the labeling becomes messy with some elevation values
I reviewed Charlie's Dominode map project and improved on the styling, here are some of the screenshots from the map
With regards to the buildings, I know that the standard colour used is black, but the black seemed to overpower the labelling and other layers that are overlay-ed on top of the buildings layer hence why I kept it in a light colour instead.
Please also comment on the Place of Interest layer I included there, if the fit is okay, so that I can properly style it up.
@timlinux on the comments you made on Friday you mentioned that you expect the cartography and colour palette heavily driven project colours and project variables, I understand the project colours part but a bit lost when it comes to the project variables
Styles added to some layers: Schools The font marker can be used at the 1:2500 scale. I added a stroke to the S in the other symbol, to make it more visible.
Police Stations The font marker can be used at the 1:2500 scale. Added an outline of white
Post Office The font marker can be used at the 1:2500 scale. Added an outline of white
Archaeological sites Added a fill in the circles
Seaport Apart from having SVGs, we can add styles that replicate the layer. To avoid having issues with SVG markers that do no appear when added or used in different platforms such as GeoNode.
Building and residential areas The residential areas polygon is from the land use layer.
Roads Used categories
Place names Removed the other classes that had been added
The current styles that are used by the layers, only need review or imporvement.
@timlinux
Layers in the topo map project (st_lucia_topographic_map.qgz) have been styled and arranged to render without any cluster or mess
I also came across these layers in the St Lucia folder on NC And made them as well by referring to http://www.charim.net/stlucia/maps project name: st_lucia_maps_for_geonode.qgz Landslide susceptibility
Flash-flood hazard
Land-cover
Landslide inventory
