We need to improve the user's experience with creating maps

• [x] Thumbnails for maps should always show up. (they currently are not showing) Thumbnails are working properly but still lack the base map in the background.

• [x] Add map navigation tools when creating maps

• [ ] Enable get feature info when creating maps.

• [ ] Add a print functionality for maps. (Add ability to customize the print with elements like get legend for layers loaded, Text alignment and page orientation i.e landscape or portrait) (Geoexplorer has this functionality)

• [ ] Allow map export in PDF format which is very useful for users.

• [x] Add a couple more background layers to choose from

• [ ] Incorporate legend in the map view. This will help in printing maps (Geoexplorer has this functionality)

Solutions

These are general improvements which should make the UI look better.
