Invalid format on attempted installation on PRS-300 #262

Your model / PRS+ version?

PRS-300 / PRS+ 2.0.17rc3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installation by extracting firmware archive onto device.
2.  Disconnecting from computer.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see installation menu.  Menu appears but warning symbol (!) and 
Invalid Format! message appear preventing any interaction with the installation 
menu.

Help!

Hi,

this is typical behavior for corrupted internal memory.
Reset the reader, connect it to PC right away, fix IM problems (I'd suggest 
checkdisk/format, but at very least remove PRSPInstaller folder).

Then try again.
