Which then generates a PR/Commit on Github page with the changes to the respective md page.

11ty, Jekyll, HUGO etc do a very fine job in creating semantically great webpages. The "democratization of the edit page" is just not there. https://forestry.io/ seems the ideal fit, just more democratized.
