I've had Odyssey running on my OS4 systems since 2013. At that time, I've been installing via copying over existing files. I've also been moving the files between system and across file systems. In that time some of the conf files have become corrupted. The browser operates just fine but features like Password database and the topsites stopped working.
The fix was easy, delete the files on disk and the browser will recreate them fresh and the feature start working, like Password storage.
The request is to add a step as part of the file access to verify the data in the file is usable. If the data is not, inform the user with a popup message:
"Could not read X database file in the Conf directory. Please restore the file from back or delete the file."
