Hi, I am using Drive DX, which requires your product to read external drives.

Installation instructions for your product say to unmount all external drives before installation of the driver, however, my OS boots from an external drive.

Is there a suggested work around for this?

OS I am booting from: Sierra.

Thanks!

The issue is simply that you can only access SMART data from drives mounted after the driver has been installed. So, install and reboot. :)

Best, Chris
