This really needs to be brought up with DriveDx as they are fully responsible for the driver now that the developer has stopped work on it.
Modifications had to be made to accommodate Catalina, since it no longer allows any 3rd party drivers in /System/Library/Extensions, so they must be placed in /Library/Extensions now. I don't know whether that applies only to Catalina or if 10.6+ drivers were also moved. If it was moved, then a restart would be required in order for them to properly load, so that would be the first thing I would try.
Sorry, but I don't have a Mac capable of running Snow Leopard handy, so can't properly troubleshoot this one.

I have a Mac Pro with OS 10.6.8 I've installed DriveDx 1.8.3 and the smart driver 0.10. All SATA , USB and Firewire drives show up in disk utility with " Smart Verified " , But when I launch DriveDx the firewire drives do not show up at all.
Thank you for responding , I tried your suggestions and the result is that after I move the SatsmartLib and the satsmartdriver as you suggested the " Smart Verified status " is gone in Disk Utility , I do see the firewire drives and USB in Drivedx , but there is a message telling me they do not support smart technology ( attached the message ). Unfortunately Drivedx 's support is not responding to me. I was looking forward to purchase the software when my trial ends. Phil. @BinaryFruit
I didn't hear back from DriveDx during the trial period which has now expired. If there is a way to extend it for a another week , I will try your latest recommendations.
