How to remove "Abstract", "Manuscript" and other additional information in xml or pdf #68

When i've converted doc file to xml or pdf, plugin added some text to original text, which isn't needed. Can i convert one to one without additions? Sample addition: "Convert pdf Test Abstract Manuscript Fed... convert pdf Test Convert pdf Test _ webadmin webadmin, webadmin@....ru Copyright (c) Convert pdf Test --- Convert pdf Test----"

Hi @vasmedv ,

The plugin carries forward metadata from your journal and inserts that into an article as front matter metadata. If your journal/article metadata is poor in OJS, you should edit it to reflect what you want your metadata to be!

And if you want to just use OTS on its own without OJS metadata, you can use it directly at http://pkp-xml-demo.lib.sfu.ca/

Thank you for your answer. It would be better, for my opinion, to make an option in setting in which user can turn off insertion of metadata. We plan to use OTS only to make pdf galley from doc file from "Production Ready Files" in OJS. I don't think that metadata will be suitable for editors. And directly i can't use OTS site, because we want to use OTS plugin to avoid additional steps such as going to another site or using additional applications.
