Method as_sparql only used namespace prefixes for abbreviation as qNames if the local name consists of letters and underscore only. SPARQL, however allows much more characters:

http://www.w3.org/TR/turtle/#grammar-production-PN_LOCAL

At least the character allowed by rule PN_CHARS should be allowed for abbreviation.
