Meters and gauges have some controls outside the Gauge control boundaries. Nevertheless those are invisible, they contribute to the selection area of the widget, allowing to select the widget far aside its boundaries.
A clipping rectangle was used around the Gauge object, a little bit larger to include the alarm borders.
