Record 'Activity List' and 'Do Today' task separately (enhancement) #41

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Be able to define whether a task was 'Do today' or on 'Activity List' and
be able to move task between these two categories. This would allow you to
record all of your open task (Activity list) and focus on the ones for
today (Do today list).

Should be able to filter task list so only 'Do today' are visible.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7

Thanks

Also agreed this feature will be really useful, may be implemented as
possibility to create custom categories

I am not so sure about this. By design we decided not to build a fully blown
todo/task tracker application but only focus on daily tasks (by Pomodoro). I
think it would be better to integrate with an existing task tracker.

Perhaps you could recommend one or two examples of an existing task tracker.

(Looks like this is quite old, but would like to add my two penneth, as I am
currently finding the application very useful, and would like to see it
improved)

Being able to move tasks from a 'fully blown' task tracker to the pomodoro
timer would be very useful. Would it be possible to publish an API that would
allow me to push tasks to the app, write some interfacing tool, or prod task
tracker developers to add to their app? I think this would be useful,
alongside, say, a csv import option to provide the best of both worlds -
flexibility from the import option, and transparent ease-of-use with the API.
