Start date is displayed in US format rather than localised. #80

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu -> statistics
2. View start date
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Using a computer outside of the US I expect to see date formatted as per 
machine localisation settings.  Instead I see US format.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pomodairo 1.8. Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
