super smash bros. brawl freezes randomly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.just playing the game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
while playing the game randomly freezes. the screen just shows whatever was on 
at the time

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

wiiflow v2.1 r228          ios 222 rev 4     cios rev 20
Please provide any additional information below.

i've tried so many things and searched for hours but i cant fix it. ssbb 
freezes and it appears to be random and not at specific spots
