+1, this is my first ever keyboard build and I assumed the ProMicro would be installed like it is on the Corne keyboard (component-side up). When I flashed my keyboard only 30% of the keys worked, and for the keys that did work, it was like a matrix transpose -- rows and columns were switched. It took me a pretty long while to realize my mistake was my ProMicro installation.
It would be great if for future builders there was a line in the docs specifically calling out the need to install the ProMicro component-side down.
Lily58 built with incorrect facing ProMicro is reported frequently in the QMK Discord server. This change adds an explicit instruction to face the ProMicro components down.
