Problem with certain strings (CAT_0000428):

an <date when="1797-1798">VI</date>l-an <date when="1797-1798">VI</date>II

In my opinion, it is better that the clustering script only cares about the first date of a date range. Otherwise I think it would be too complicated to deal with single date and date ranges.
Second issue remains unresolved for now.
