Victorian Data #1

It looks like there is some live transport data published as part of a timetable api (doc) although I don't believe this is easily compatible with GTFS. Looks like this is the intended API they provide for transport apps.

Additionally (and confusingly), there is some other aggregated "GTFS" data which they update weekly (?), although the way it is provided is somewhat confusing: https://www.data.vic.gov.au/data/dataset/ptv-timetable-and-geographic-information-2015-gtfs

I can't seem to get live transport information for Melbourne trains and buses on my phone, for what it's worth.

I'm still trying to decipher the second source to see if it's usable or not.

replying to @bmon: Documentation by Steve Bennett on PTV timetable API: http://stevage.github.io/PTV-API-doc/#header1

The GTFS data @bmon linked to is the static timetable, it does not contain GTFS realtime data.

There is 'realtime' data in the PTV app now but I don't know if there is an API for it. (it's not really realtime)
