Update to Expo SDK 44 #21

This pull request fixes issue #20 allowing the package to be used on Expo SDK 44.

Ah, a bit embarrassing how long I've let this sit. I'm caught up with work these days. But I can schedule some time to look over the weekend and merge it in. Fingers crossed!
