What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installing cygwin 1.5.25-11
2. Starting putty

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the prompt string "$", but I see nothing. PuTTYcyg is running but
I can't input any character.

Which version of PuTTYcyg are you using? Which version of Windows? What
version of Cygwin? Do you have a dual-core system or multiple CPUs? Any
firewall software installed?
PuTTYcyg: latest release (20071202).
OS: Windows Vista SP1
cygwin:1.5.25-11
Duel-Core system
No firewall software

Please provide any additional information below.

This seems similar to http://code.google.com/p/puttycyg/issues/detail?id=1 and
http://code.google.com/p/puttycyg/issues/detail?id=3. Check that you do not
have
multiple copies of cygwin1.dll on your system:
