sort (1).pdf Drop-down placement for sorting
@Katie10sfeldt Is that like a drop-down? How do they select which thing to sort by and whether it's ascending or descending?
@KTSCode More of a cohesive mock-up. Drop down menu - Sort goes from left to right. So far available sorting options are shown (couldn't come up with any more). sort (1).pdf
@Katie10sfeldt Could there be an option to filter as well as sort?
@sarahsanclemente @KTSCode I like that suggestion. For everyone, as a user, would you prefer a simple filter, maybe consisting of just streaming service, movies only, shows only, and rating? Or would you prefer something more in depth, maybe getting more into genre, or critic rating? Let me know, and I'll put a more in depth mock up together.
@Katie10sfeldt Personally, I think you would only need streaming service, movie/show, and maybe genre. Being able to filter or search for a specific user's recommendations might be useful as well, but I don't know. I defer to @KTSCode.
@Katie10sfeldt @sarahsanclemente I think the best way to do it, would be to put a special looking item at the bottom of the recommendations list labeled "rejected recommendations 🔽" that when clicked expands to show all your rejected recommendations. That way you don't need to have two columns for recommendations.
sort (1).pdf The first page shows how the filter will be somewhat structured. If a user has fewer or more streaming services, it will need to be included in the filter list.
User Story
As I user, I want my watch list and my recommendation list to have a sorting option based off the genre, streaming service, and who recommended it so I can easily find what I'm looking for.
