problem ripping cd from superdrive into usb enclosure #100

xld crashes during ripping from usb drive ... this happens using the SuperDrive 
of my MacBook Pro unibody mounted in an enclosure usb - I recently installed in 
its place a bay for a second hd ...

changing preferences of extracting something changes, but at best rip is still 
very slow ... this does not happen with itunes, it was not the case before when 
the SuperDrive was inside the macbook ..

I forgot, the crash occurred after a few seconds into the ripping, extraction 
seems to stop and you need to manually cancel the process
