cue file not working: "Cannot open the input file" #290

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to open a specific cue file in XLD for audio splitting
2.
3.

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
always

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the scheduled tracks come up in the application with the option
to start, but I just get the error message

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
20140504 (147.0), on OSX 10.9.5

Please provide any additional information below.
I've compared the cue file side-by-side with one that works, and I tried to
make sure it was UTF-8 by opening it in textedit, selecting the always save as
UTF-8 option in textedit preferences, and then closing it.

Your .cue is encoded with UTF-16, not UTF-8. XLD doesn't support UTF-16 cue
sheet.

I tried to change it to UTF-8 in textedit, but it seems to have not worked. Do
you have any suggestions?

As far as I've tested converting to UTF-8 with TextEdit works properly.
