4 months ago Yes, you're correct that it's because of the vanilla eye in the frame. You need to right click it with an End Remastered eye to replace it.

Ive gotten all the eyes and placed them in the portal frames and its not activating. There was a old eye from the vanilla game already in one of the frames so idk if thats the problem. It could be just the mod being funny or i did something wrong
