play/pause icons flash back and forth

Some users have reported that the play/pause button icons toggle back and forth 
while listening to content in the app. The reports do not indicate that audio 
is interrupted in any way by this - just that the icons flash back and forth 
between pause and play.

"The play pause button keeps flashing play and then pause when playing 
content... This happened with the latest update. restarting the app fixes for a 
day... Then it comes back"

I experienced this behavior often with previous versions, but have not seen it 
after a day of using the 2.1 RC.
