You can take any 2-class dataset from libsvm: 
http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~cjlin/libsvmtools/datasets/
It uses the same format.
However, since this project is still under development, I suggest to use libsvm 
instead. It is one of the best performing SVM implementations one can find.
