Thanks a lot. I'll merge it tonight. I'll inform you when it's in the nightly 
build, so you can test it. I remember there were some issues with the German 
translations, something with long strings. Edu would be able to pull out a new 
release, but we need to test it first.

I've merged it, but I cannot test it ATM. Please download the r657 build 
(http://400plus.googlecode.com/files/400plus-20110622-r657.zip) and test it.
Please report after that, so Edu would be informed.

i've posted another patch for the ita lang after cheking the fix made with some 
more meaningful abbreviations. It's the first time I use goggle code so sorry 
for splitting this patch discussion.
In future i'll try to test my patch before committing, now I'm on a mac and 
I've started playing with chdk just a few days ago so i have not yet tried to 
compile from source because i'm running osx only on my machine. So i need to 
find out what i need to be able to compile it.

Thank's for the quick integrations, I like this software a lot.

Nothing to be sorry about, it's ok; and thanks for your contribution. While I 
have never compiled on OSX, feel free to ask any question on the forum; it is a 
unix after all, and probably quite similar to Linux.

you can talk to Andrew in the forum, he is on osx and he was working on ML, now 
he is trying to port 400plus to 1000d. (his name in the forum is "Coutts")
hopefully he will help you with the cross environment and toolchain for the 
compiling.
