There's really no reason why this shouldn't be a thing that's user-toggleable, but not sure how to have that work within Twine itself. Hm.

Current research suggests the following:

add a .light-mode class to CSS with the proper colors
add a link to StoryMenu which will add it to the sidebar, separate from passages
hook that link to some Javascript

I'll have to specifically override the default Sugarcube stylesheet, I should investigate how my girlfriend did it last time.

I may also have to figure out how Twine does caching, if I can make it so it'll save your settings each time.
