Is your feature request related to a problem, or particular use cases? Please describe.

I was using Newpipe to listen to a video overnight, and I think there was a glitch the caused the same video to be scrobbled multiple times.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like the ability to select multiple songs in the history to delete them, and/or have the option of deleting all instances of a song / artists / album from the history.

Additional info v. 3.27

@kawaiiDango Thanks for linking.

I see that it will hit the LastFM rate limit, but I exclusively use ListenBrainz...

Listenbrainz also has a rate limit

@kawaiiDango Is the API is for the entire app or per user (not my area of expertise, sorry)?

If it's for the whole app: If it's possible to request a rate limit for your app from ListenBrainz, I would 100% support it, and others might as well. I would pay for premium to have this feature, even if it limited the number of tracks I could select per min / hour / day, or delayed the updating with the main database on a rolling basis to not hit the limit.

PanoScrobbler and Web Scrobbler are the primary ways I interface with ListenBrainz, and the main reason why I've stuck with it and enjoy it. Hopefully, ListenBrainz can support this feature for fantastic apps like this one.🙂

I've experienced that every couple of months I'm no longer able to delete recent scrobbles. Loggin off and logging in after that always solves it.

Is this also related to the issue with the API rate limit of last.fm?

This typically happens if you delete/edit too many scrobbles in a short period of time. I don't know the exact cause, it could be a rate limit issue.

Probably by not deleting/editing too many scrobbles in a short period of time
