PPM Resolution Enhancement #137

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
An issue can sometimes occur on BNF type aircraft regarding PPM
resolution/Steps.

See this link for details
http://9xforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=22725#p22725

This could be simplified with a model protocol preference to set the number of
'steps' per stick.

So normally we have 200 or 250 (extended) unique steps per stick movement. The
system pref would simply cause the sticks to have fewer steps.

Read the thread and it would make sense!

Yeah, but it's the only example of it I've ever seen...
Not sure it's worth adding that for just one obscure weird-behaving Chinese
thing?

True... there is another side effect of it!

You could use it to create a very 'stepped' stick response.

Imaging if it where applied to a pot. You could 'step' through the movements.
Of course.. easily done on just one mix :-)

I think I will not do it. With the new curves with so many points, it's esay to
have steps through the movements!
