More details. Audio is chopped, but general responsivity of the radio is 
affected too, it gets slower and misses some keypresses.

Might be the reason for this problem (that I have confirmed) too:

As mAh are integrated over time, if the timebase is screwed up it would lead to 
wrong results.

Update: Can't nmotice a slowdown without the audio option, but it might still 
show an underlying problem...
With audio option, I get mAh readings that are approx 2x too high if current 
source is analog.

Keys get skipped and sound becomes choppy when on the A1 and A2 selections.
Only shown there on the actual item, but it's system-wide.
