Can't install hp-12C calculator on my iPhone 3G firmware version 2.2.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Install.app on iPhone. 
2. Add source http://snipurl.com/hpcalc
3. All HP-XXC appeared. But when I tapped on HP-12C, the following message 
appear instead: "Error. Unable to decode package. More info at http://..." 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The HP-12C should be installed but the message outlined above showed up 
instead. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IPhone 3G with firmware version 2.2.1. Istaller version 4.0

I also experienced this on my iPhone non-3G version 2.2.1.  "Error.  Unable to
