Pair up with a peer. Find a job advertisement you are both interested in. Arrange an online meeting to interview each other for that role.

Interview each other using a video conference software (you should be able to record the interview). Spend a maximum of 15 minutes per person.

Following the interview, watch the recording and think about 2 examples in which you sold yourself well and why. Then, think about 2 examples in which you didn't sell yourself well and why. Write a reflection (what went well/not so well) of a minimum of 100 words.

In the interview, I believe I sold myself well when discussing my experience with building a campsite booking app. I did a good job when I talked about building a camping website and how I solved problems during the process. I also explained how I managed data well. But sometimes, I didn't give clear examples of my skills. I need to improve by giving more specific examples of what I've done in the past. Overall, I think I did well, but I can do better by giving clearer examples.

Great reflection. If you didn't give good example, you probably didn't do well. This is one of the main reasons our alumni aren't getting jobs.
