I may test on 10.5.7/Intel if I have time later.

These don't help with compiling the kit under Snow Leopard. Is anyone looking 
at that at all?

We aren't working towards OSX support at the moment. Maybe in the future, but 
this really isn't a high priority for us right now.

Agreed. While the changes required would be minor, as it once did work under 
OSX, its better you just run a linux distro in a VM under OSX instead of making 
the developers bother with native support.
