Cannot compile using py-leveldb

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download pyleveldb
2. Run ./compile_leveldb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It used to run just fine... but now I'm getting 

configure.ac:40: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.

I'm on Debian Wheezy 64bit.

Hi,

Please file bugs in py-leveldb against py-leveldb and not Snappy.

Found solution: Looks like I'm missing pkg-config.
