Reason for disagreement: I feel that this problem should be considered as a genuine within-the-scope bug, that could have been improved within the iterations given to the team. :(
Proper formatting (which greatly improves utility and readability in many cases) such as this instance should not be a good-to-have
inclusion in one's app (especially when displaying information), but a must-have
, to allow Calidr to be reasonably useful to the user.
What I did: toggle page week, with events within the entries of each week and 3 events occuring throughout the week.
As it is within expectations that a user would have even just 3 events spanning across the week, he should be able to look at the details without hassle. However, the formatting of page week squeezes the events to give very little horizontal space, making the event names and details hard to read.
We have to keep in mind that there is a need to dynamically format the view to fit the events, as this is not an analog calendar where users will simple squeeze their entries if there is no space.
