Doesn't deal with multiple monitors #7

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Shift on a system with more than one monitor.
2. Choose a window on the second monitor.
3. Try to move it to the side of the 2nd monitor that is furthest from the main
monitor.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Example: I have a second monitor positioned to the left of the main monitor. I
select a Finder
window on the second monitor and try to move it to the left using Shift (menu
or keyboard), but
the window ends up moved to the right onto the left side of the main monitor.
Shift doesn't
appear to recognize the existence of the second monitor, at least as placed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system( 10.5
or 10.6)?

2006 iMac 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 10.6.3.

Attach screenshots if it is a problem with the window position and size.
Please attach logs if you notice any crashes
Please provide any additional information below.

While this is fixed in #18, there is a remaining Bug: windows are centered on
the
wrong screen. (Patch attached)

Also, additionally: Windows on the second screen are not pushed to the lower
edge of
the screen correctly (when using "down").
