Missing elements in WYSIWYG editor #113

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

There don't seem to be any buttons/dropdowns in the WYSIWYG editor for headers,
blockquotes, code, etc. I'd expect at least that all of the elements present in
the example home page (upon finishing setup) should be possible to insert using
the WYSIWYG editor. Otherwise your example page is showing people something
they can't actually do themselves, at least not without resorting to raw HTML.

agreed... maybe these can be added to the "Advanced" toolbar config - but then
again, it would have to span 3 lines instead of two to get these. Not sure what
a basic user would have any use for a blockquote or code... maybe headers would
be the only case i can think of being legitimate.

I did just discover the existence of the "advanced" toolbar mode, which allows
for all of the elements present in the example page (so ignore my suggestion
about extra buttons). If the example page is kept as-is, I would suggest
turning on "advanced" mode by default, or at least somehow making it extremely
obvious that the mode exists and how to enable it. I only found it via a
GetSimple forum post after some searching around.

great - i wasnt sure what was in that advanced toolbar. We will make sure we
add this to the wiki when it gets created. (Soon hopefully)
