Persevere will not compile under a 1.5 JVM following revision 473...
http://code.google.com/p/persevere-framework/source/detail?r=473.  The
class java.util.ArrayDeque (which is used in org.persvr.data.Method.java)
has only been part of the JVM since Java 1.6.
