Cross domain Customers Example - plain just doesn't work #196

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. browse to http://www.persvr.org/examples/xd-customer.html

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting a working example. Get eternal "Loading" indicator.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This is in Firefox 3 and IE 7 - OS irrelevant, but Vista.

Noted in #152, too.

Examples don't work from the main directory... gotta run in the examples sub 
dir.

Under these circumstances, I question linking to the examples at all.  Creates 
bad
impressions.

The other examples work fine. This example has issues.

I fixed a problem with this example, although it seemed that it was working 
before, but 
it was running in polling mode. And I still haven't been able to reproduce any 
issues 
running from the main directory.
