I know that this is a trivial extensions that most likely will not get any updates, but nevertheless it should include a version field. If I were already there I fixed a small typo, and referenced the official Gnome-bug.

Could you please also tag a release via Github? This way it can be packaged better for distributions. I will package it for Arch Linux :)
